However, you may be in luck just across the road from Mason!

Birdline report from 18/11/06:

"Bicentennial Park, waterbird refuge
1 Pectoral seen among several Sharp-tailed Sandpipers in front of the
Waterbird refuge."

Last I heard in a report posted on Birdline was this:

"Sat 18 Nov

None! Mason Park
Almost entirely drained and dry. One adult stilt and three young seen,
only.
Barrie Ayres"

So the outlook's not good.

But if you're after a Pec, Pitt Town might be worth a look. This also
taken from Birdline:

"Wed 15 Nov Ruff, Pectoral Sandpiper, Wood Sandpiper, Marsh
SandpiperPitt Town Lagoon

Keith Brandwood"
