Hi All,

I've always called the pipits we get in Australia, Richards Pipits.
However i just came across the term Australiasian Pipit (Anthus
novaeseelandiae) as opposed to Richard's Pipit (Anthus richardi).

Do we have both Pipits in Australia? Is one sedentary and the other
migratory?

Any info appreciated.

Peter
