I had an identification but it may have been wrong.
I will throw in two extra clues:
1) The photo hardly shows it, but the top of the head was striped from side
to side - the light and dark brown stripes running across the head.
3) The rump was clear white.

My first thought when I saw it was Songlark, which could fit with the
estimated size.
Maybe a Brown Songlark young female, still got some streaking on the breast,
but has the adult female's supercilium.
It doesn't show the brown colouring I'd expect of an eclipse White-winged
Triller.
