Greetings all Awaba Forest is again under threat!! Our "Wonderful" Department of Environment and Conservation has neglected to Protect this very important piece of bushland - home to the masked owl, Powerful Owl, Squirrel glider, Spotted- tail Quoll, Tetratheca juncea, just to name a few!! For those of us who care for this forest and its inhabitants I ask you to check out the NSW DEC Website and make your submission. Submissions close on the 17 Nov. IF WE DO NOT PROTECT THIS AREA IT WILL SURELY COME UNDER ATTACK OF OPEN CUT COAL MINING IN MATTER OF TIME. There are signs of this all ready! For the Masked Owl and the Squirrel Glider Robyn =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
