Hi everyone

I have just spent a few months in your wonderful country around the
outskirts of Sydney and have now returned home to Northern Ireland.

I would like to thanks those people from this site who helped me to have the
most wonderful "birding" time.

I would like to thank Tony Dymond who sent me literature even before I can
to Australia. That was most helpful. Thank you for Terry Gee from
Canberra who also sent me very useful information and did invite me to go
birding in Canberra although I was unable to take that kind offer up. Then
another thanks to Alistair McKeough who invited me to go on a pelagic trip
from Woolongone. That was truly wonderful for me as I have never been on
such a trip.

Alan Morris invited me to come up to his neck of the country and we had a
wonderful day's birding on the Central Coast. Thanks Alan

Finally, my greats thanks and appreciation must go to Keith Brandwood who
gave of his time and expertise to teach me about Australia birds in the
Hawksberry area. I learnt such a lot from him and I really miss the outings
we had together. My total number of birds seen was 210, and having seen
only 6 of these birds before (in my country) that makes 204 NEW birds. Not
bad for a trip especially when bird watching was not the reason I can to
Australia!

Back home here seems very dull for birds now. The colour of Australian
birds is truly beautiful.

Thanks to others who communicated via email with me however I never had time
to meet while I was in Australia.

God bless to you all.

Margaret Adamson
