Our thanks to all birding-aussers who supplied information about the Koels
in Sydney town. At long last we have seen this species - luck came our way
on Saturday 14 Oct when we saw a lovely male in MB Fig in the grounds of
Sydney University very close to the intersection of Parramatta and Missenden
Road Camperdown. The bird was seen again on Sunday morning and was really
making a noise with its continual calling.
