Hi all, sorry tried to attach a photo earlier but it doesn't appear to have been successful. Just wondered if you'd have a look at the photo: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l263/martismo/AVariedLorikeet.jpg I'm fairly confident its a Varied lorikeet but we live in Ingham out of their normal range according to fieldguides and The Atlas of Australian Birds. It was in our backyard feasting on bottlebrush flowers.
