Hadn't thought of that.... They are much higher pitched than a currawong and
have had currawongs (and currawong calls) round here for many years and
never heard this before (then again, I don't recall seeing young currawongs
often....).

Weird currawong calls, perhaps?  We've been inundated with same, here in
Glebe.  Maybe they're young'uns, practicing.
