It's not my region, but you might want to have a look at some of the
reserves around Griffith - you might the odd robin and parrot around
there. Back in the mid nineties I saw
Apostlebird and Red-rumped Parrot at Griffith,
Hooded Robin, White-browed Babbler, Splendid Fairywren,
Chestnut-rumped Thornbill, Yellow Thornbill, Southern Whiteface, Varied
Sittella, Brown Treecreeper, Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater, Striped
Honeyeater, Blue Bonnet, Mallee Ringneck, and Mulga Parrot at Cocoparra,
Superb Parrot near West Wyalong,
Turquoise Parrot, Speckled Warbler and Fuscous Honeyeater, Diamond
Firetail, Painted Button-Quail at the Weddin Mountains, and
Red-capped Robin at Conimbla.

Hi Everyone,
I have to go to Wagga Wagga for work for a week and was wondering if
anyone would have some suggestions to go birding in and around town. I
searched Birding-Aus archive but found only other RFI's and no
answers. I probably won't have much time but what are the key species
and were shopuld I look for them?
Thansk in advance.
Cheers,
