Moorcombe shows PHR extending well into NE NSW, probably as far South and
West as Dubbo, although not as far South along the Coast, perhapsonly as far
as Coffs Harbour. Eastern Rosella is shown all the way into SE Qld, but a
separate race "elecica" as the only one in the far NE corner of NSW and into
Queensland.

I am shortly moving house, so have packed my Atlas - what did it have as the
extent of reported sightings??

This is very interesting, and it is notable that despite a reputable
reference text (Morris, McGill & Holmes 1981"Handlist of Birds in NSW" as
below), Pizzey and Knight and Simpson and Day have PHRs extending only to
the Qld border with no extension into NSW inland, and Slater has a map
showing (incorrectly) that Easterns and PHRs intergrade extensively into SE
Qld, again with no inland southern extension into NSW.

What does the map in Morecomb show?
