I have seen them at Sylvan Grove (nature reserve at Picnic Point, just south
of Bankstwon)
Also, they were in my garden this moring ripping apart old banksia cones
(and leaving the buds) in the Inner West

Just a quick note to say I spotted three of these birds during lunch today
in Bankstown NSW (busy suburb of Sydney) of all places - is this unusual?
