Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos are quite common in Bankstown with most
sightings from the Georges River around Revesby and Padstow Heights areas.
They are regular visitors to Silvan Grove and adjoining Georges River
National Park where there are good stands of Banksia. I have often observed
them flying from the river heading north to Rookwood Cemetery where they
feed in pine trees.
