Hi birders,
I spotted 3 waders today, At Kings Bay, opposite Regatta Rd. Their body size
was slightly smaller than the Silver Gulls that were with them; slightly
upturned bill with a dark tip, but that may have been mud and pale
underneath. As I was in the car and binless I'm not expecting an ID but I
would like to know if there are any birders that have some more info on the
waders in H&C Bay & Iron Cove. I often take the scenic route home to the
Mountains from Sydney rather than P.Rd. It would be nice to know what to
look out for. Timothy and I saw a Nankeen Night Herron on the boom on the
corner of Dobroyd Pde. & Timbrell Dr. a few years ago, and now look every
time we drive past. Any info most welcome.

Cheers
Lynda Hyde.
