I got a few reactions on my request for Buderigar images, but I feel I must
explain somewhat more.
- We are a group of hobby breeders, so we will of course pay for material and
postage, but 'hobby' prices. We hope to find supporters for our ideas who will
give real help.
- The images will be used as part of the formal description, in all budgie
clubs, in publications in magazines, and so on. That means something as
'copyright' or even mentioning the photographers name cannot be guaranteed.
- We cannot use images from or via internet, not even with all copyrights,
because of their low quality; compressed small files. The most important thing
being the colors. But it should be possible to sent us high definition images
on CD or film negatives.
- We are not looking for 'nice' pictures in nature, but for images that will
complement or even overrule the written description, as words cannot describe
everything. The background is not important and should certainly not attract
attention. They should be specially made.
- We think about five images. Front, back, side (to show form of head and
beak), upper and underside of spread wings. Even the underside of the fully
spread wings shows a beautiful pattern. It could very well be that such
pictures can only be taken from a (sorry) dead budgie.

Maybe this is not the sort of message that is normally stated on your forum.
But we think the best adress for our problem is that of bird enthousiasts that
see the real live Budgies in their Australian Bush. Sorry if we are wrong.
