An update on a few key species at the Western Treatment Plant (noted Sun 7 May): * The pair of WB Sea-Eagles flying low over Austin Rd. * The 3 Brolgas at Summer 1 Lagoon (Austin Rd). * The RN Phalarope at Walsh's Lagoon. Plus: * Approx 10 Freckled Duck on a concrete platform (and adjacent rock) at the northern end of Lake Borrie South (none in their usual locations in either Lake Borrie North or at the southern end of Lake Borrie South). * 3 Cattle Egret with a herd of cattle along Paradise Rd.
