Hi All

Brown Gerygones in small numbers (I have seen up to 10 birds at one
time) visit the woodland beside Prospect Reservoir (western Sydney)
fairly regularly around winter. They probably move down with the Rose
Robins etc from the Blue Mountains about 20 km from the west.

Giday Birders,
I have seen this with Brwon Gerygones in and around
the
lower blue mountains and western Sydney. They have recently turned up in
my
backyard, along with most of my other winter visitors. At the moment I
have
white-plumed and fuscous honeyeaters and rose robins, all of these are
winter only visitors to my area. If I'm lucky I'll get bassian thrush
and
swift parrot before the winter is through.

Cheers
