The pure Black and White form of the White-winged Fairy-wren has not been officially recorded on the mainland. There have been a number of reports, but usually when checked out, they are a very deep blue. The Blue & White form varies from very bright blue to a very deep blue that can look black unless you get good light. _________________________________________________________________ Frank O'Connor Birding WA http://birdingwa.iinet.net.auPhone : (08) 9386 5694 Email : =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
