To all
I have found that Pacific Bazas tend to flock about Autumn/winter in and
around Sydney. I had 6-8 one winter in Shanes Parks (western Sydney)
were they are probably also resident and a similar number a little
further north in Yarramalong in the NSW Central coast.

Subject: 8 Pacific Baza's in Kangaroo Valley - 2/4/06
This morning from 8:30 - 9:15 we had 8 Pacific Bazas perched in the
trees around our house. Some were feeding, others were chased by Brown
Goshawks, Australian Ravens, and Pied Currawongs. They ended up circling
in one flock above our house which was quite a sight. Most, if not all,
were adults.
Also got our first Kestrel for the property this morning!
Cheers,
Nigel
