I've got a few days off next week and want to find some birds. I'm thinking of a 2-3 day hike, somewhere down a gully near a nice creek, to look for some new birds. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm prepared to drive a couple of hours from Penrith, and am an experienced hiker so difficult places will definitely be considered.
