The Cairns Post this morning carried the story "Caravan Industry lauds
four parks plan" which is about proposals for 4 new caravan parks for
Port Douglas. While the newspaper was short on detail, it would seem
that 2 of these proposed parks are not in Port Douglas at all, but are
intended for Yule Point - well known as a sure site for spotting Beach
Stone Curlews.
