Dear all

During a Regent Honeyeater survey carried out today there were some interesting sightings. (Sadly no Regents)

At Coonoor Rd TSR (a regular surveying site) we recorded for the first time, Apostlebirds at 1030 hours.

There were 100+ WTNs flying over Linton Nature Reserve at 1215 hours (at the small dam). It is difficult to pin-point the reserve but here are the co-ordinates: 30 deg 27 min 28 sec S/150 deg 52 min 17 sec E. There did not seem to be any storm front.

And finally, heading for home at about 1440 hours on Hardens Rd that connects Old Kingstown Rd with Gwydir River Rd, a pair of Common Mynas feeding young! The coordinates for that sighting are: 30 deg 24 mins 12 sec S/151 deg 07 mins 55 sec E.

Regards
Shirley Cook
