Hi Netters,

The last week has seen Swift Parrots in Devonport. On 4/1 nine landed in the Peppercorn Tree in front of my home, 5/1 five flew over the home. Then 6/1 nine landed in the neighbours tree at the rear of my home. On Sunday 8/1 while walking to the newsagent in town for my paper twelve landed in a flowering eucalypt in the Catholic Church School. The bright red eucalypts in the area, which I believe are from WA, are coming into bloom.

I have two colours of Kangaroo Paw in the garden and flowering prolific. It was nice the see 14 New Holland H/E having a feed. Also on Sunday driving through the nearby suburb of Latrobe to buy juicy cherries from the Cherry Barn 200+ Masked Lapwings covered the football ground.

All the Best
