Hi all, I have received more Magpie Geese records for southern NSW in the last couple of months than I have over the previous few years. There have been records at Walla Walla, Brocklesby, Corowa and Deniliquin, amongst others incl. breeding in the Murrumbidgee region. Some sites have had a dozen or more birds. These all can’t be from the Kyabram fauna park but the $64-million question is: Are they from reintroduced populations in Vic and NSW or from further north? Cheers, Matt Herring.
