Hi there birders, Varied Sittella is a species that gets an occasional mention in messages to Birding-Aus. On my early morning walk this morning I was delighted to see 4 Varied Sittella in the roadside vegetation. I hadn't seen this species here for several years. They are occasional visitors to our garden. Although widespread in this district they do not appear to be common. I was disappointed that I didn't have my camera with me.
