I just happened to watch a few minutes of the TV series, “The
Alice” on channel nine on Monday night (not that I have really watched
much of the show) when I started to take note of some bird calls in the background.
I heard some Zebra Finches and a Brown Songlark and I
thought that they would be 2 birds you can expect to hear in Alice Springs
(where the show is filmed) but when I suddenly heard the distinct calls of
Swift Parrots, then surely there would have to be a tape playing in the
background (probably the same for the TV show Better Homes and Gardens) or it
would be an incredible record!
