Swift Parrots at Alice Springs!!!

Hi Edwin,

Sadly it appears that "The Alice" is actually filmed in Sydney (much to
the consternation of the people that live in Alice Springs!) An article
regarding it was featured on ABC's TripleJ a few weeks back.
Still interesting to know that 'Swifties' must be around the studios.

I just happened to watch a few minutes of the TV series, "The Alice" on channel nine on Monday night (not that I have really watched much of the show) when I started to take note of some bird calls in the background. I heard some Zebra Finches and a Brown Songlark and I thought that they would be 2 birds you can expect to hear in Alice Springs (where the show is filmed) but when I suddenly heard the distinct calls of Swift Parrots, then surely there would have to be a tape playing in the background (probably the same for the TV show Better Homes and Gardens) or it would be an incredible record!
