As I mentioned recently, we found grey grasswrens in the lignum beside
the Birdsville Track in the vicinity of Goyders Lagoon about 90k south
of Birdsville. They were not easy to see, being highly mobile. I
would suggest you investigate any likely/accessible lignum site you
come across, as you never know ...
