When I first moved to Sydney in 1995 I thought WPHE would be an unusual
species (after growing up in Wollongong where they were considered rare).
However, travelling around the south I found them very common with sightings
in Ashfield, Caringbah and Liverpool. I had records at two of the houses I
lived in (Miranda and Engadine) though they were both only recorded a couple
of times. A pair lived in Brush Box that I used to walk past at lunchtime in
Hurstville.
Cheers,
Peter

I've seen White-plumed Honeyeaters in Leichardt and at Darling Harbour.
These would have been at least ten years ago.
