Hi Birders,News that Channel-bills have started flowing through is of interest with the earliest dates of 2 at Pymble 18/8 and one at Penrith 30/8 (none from the Central Coast so far?). Last year the earliest arrivals that I noted were 2/9 Shoalhaven Heads (& 12/9 at Davistown here on the Central Coast). However the earliest arrival reported since 1990 was 22/8/1999 at Mulgoa, whereas the earliest arrival date up to 1990 was 7/9/1975. They do appear to be getting here earlier each year.
