Could be could be, but you can't count it so far out of its range. Some
might suggest it was ship assisted. ( ho)

Subject: Probable Superb Parrot in Altona, Melbourne
(presumed escapee?)
Hi Colin
How about Alexandrine Parakeet/Parrot? They've been mistaken for Superb
Parrots around here in SE Melbourne, sometimes consorting with Rainbow
Lorikeets.
Graceful flight with quite slow wing beats and the wings somewhat bowed.
One
reference on Google says "loud, sharp screaming call- keeak, keeak,
keeak.."
Field marks: has some deep pink partches around leading edge of wing,
red
bill and underparts, to my eye, avoacdo in colour. Yellow, not pink,
under
tail.
