Oh no, Michael, defininately not! The sight of those gulls circling above
Bolte Bridge is a beautiful sight all right and so is the vapour trail from
a jet engine streaking across the beautiful blue sky of Melbourne on a sunny
Aututmn day. These things can still be beautiful even though they are
harmful to our environment. I'm all for shading our city lights and using
less harmful lighting systems. The terible gas infernos at "The Casino"
(Melb) are a prime example of something that is 'beautiful' but horribly
destructive to Earths atmosphere.
