Andrew's suggestions are all very good. Thanks for the mention. As for my own suggestions.... because there is such a large number of walks and possible birding locations throughout the Blue Mountains, I've already replied privately to David with a suggestion to phone me. I am generally happy to chat by phone with birders wanting information - much simpler than writing a long detailed email for each request (I'm sure many people can relate to the time-eating nature of emailing). This also enables a discussion of the person's capacity for bushwalks, time available, species wanted, etc, to narrow down the choices. By the way, anyone looking up my posts in the archives as Andrew mentioned, note the correct spelling of my surname (nearly everyone gets it wrong).

Cheers
Carol
