When I was down on my land in the Capertee Valley the weekend before
last, I thought I heard Swift Parrots calling, but I dismissed it as
I didn't hear it again and thought it was probably too early (it was
6th March). However having now read on the Canberra birding list that
some were seen in the Canberra region on the 7th, I'm starting to
think my initial impression might have been correct. I only heard the
call once, and fairly faintly, but it was quite distinctive.
Anyone seen them anywhere else in NSW yet?
