1. Put a temporary fence around the blackberry bush 2. Buy a bag of pig nuts from your local stock feed store 3. Buy, beg, borrow or steal a pig 4. Pop the pig inside the fence Once the blackberries are gone you will be left with a lovely friable and fertile place to grow whatever you want. The birds will have time to adjust to the loss of the blackberries and you won't have poisoned anything. You will also have a fatter pig to dispose of as you wish. Good luck Paul Osborn |
