Have you contacted Firefox support about this? Firefox is used by an
ever increasing number of people and I have never heard of this before
- but it does reinfoce the report that we should all take backups of
the PC regularly (I am paranoid and store mine both on a secure web
site and on CD) and especially before installing any new application.
Surely yuo have such backups - after all a hard disk can crash at any
time (mine did a couple of years ago) and you would be equally
vulnerable then.
