Alan and Birding Aussies.....Probably not much use to you, but here in Warwick my records have Koels being hosted by Magpie-larks and Blue-faced Honeyeaters. On a different subject, my brother lives near Bourke and has resident Inland Dotterels in his front paddock. According to The New Atlas of Australian Birds, this would be an easterly extension to their range....your comments? I also have an uncle in country further west who has seen "Siberian Plovers"...I'm not real good with waders even when I see them so what bird is he likely to be seeing? Chris Armstrong Warwick QLD |
