A few months ago my wife was playing an Irish whistle and a male king-parrot landed on the verandah rail outside her study and started bopping along (i  bobbing its head up and down quite quickly) in time with the tune.  This morning a female king-parrot landed in a tree next to our car and again started bopping in time with the much slower ABC FM music on the car radio.  Is this species usually musical or is this just a coincidence?
