Something that particularly concerns me about the birding-aus archives
is that with open access you're not just looking at people intruding
into your personal details.  A "spider" program, commonly used for
search engines but also now used for spam email address collections,
can strip your email address quite easily from any entry in the
archives if it finds them.  This is very easily solved by password
protecting the archives.
