Twitchathon time

Hi Lawrie,

Yes, as a now distant observer of the lack of self-indulging e-mails re 
twitching, I too have been surprised.  As leader of the two-time defending 
champions for the Victorian 24-hour race (there's that self-indulgence again), 
I must announce that we, Sean Fitzgerald and myself, aka The Tick Tock Twins, 
will not be twitching this year as I am on an overseas teaching assignment in 
Chiang Mai for atleast a couple of years.  Good luck to all those who step up 
to the challenge and may the birds be the real winners, as always.
Incidentally, if any birding-aussers are heading over to Thailand and, in 
particular, the northern regions and would be interested in touching base, then 
please do.
I am here monitoring with interest the bird chat from Oz.  Keep it coming.
