Visited the Manly and North Wynnum wader roosts on Wednesday before and
over high tide...
Manly - raining while there, lot of birds asleep despite being on site
2.5 hrs before high tide, most birds already at roost. Difficult to
count, nos probably under estimated..

200 Lesser Sand Plover
1500 Bar-tailed Godwit - one with Green flag - upper R leg, reported
prev.
100 Whimbrel
130 Curlew

300 Great Knot
30 Red Knot
600 Red-necked Stint
50 Sharp-tailed Sandpiper

Wynnum North - checked gulls on way - approx 120 Silver Gulls along
esplanade.
2 Intermediate Egret

30 Black-winged Stilt
114 Black-tailed Godwit
100 Bar-tailed Godwit
150 Whimbrel
50 Curlew
12 Marsh Sandpiper
2 Greenshank
5 Red Knot
50 Sharp-tailed Sandpiper
In the flock of Sharpies as they flew around there was an unidentified
'rump'. I was unable to re-locate any different bird when the flock
re-landed, but would be worth keeping an eye out for if anyone is
visiting the spot.
