Hi David

I was at Durikai SF west of Warwick in Queensland on Friday 8 October at
4.30 pm. We saw two Regent HE's at the waterhole. One flew off as the other
flew down to drink. Approx Co-ords are 28/12/25 S and 151/35/20 E. There
was very high HE activity drinking and bathing with numerous Yellow-plumed,
Yellow-faced and White-naped HE's. Also there were Fuscous HE's, Noisy
Friarbirds, Noisy Miners, one Singing HE, Brown HE's, and Scarlet HE's.
Also using the same two metre 'beach' were an Olive-backed Oriole, Dusky
Woodswallows, Peaceful Doves and Superb Fairy-wrens. All the while a Nankeen
Night Heron watched on from about 6 metres above. There were also
Bee-eaters, Little Lorikeets, Black-faced Cuckoo-shrikes, Dollarbirds and
Sacred Kingfishers seen while we stood at the one spot.

Some memorable birding!!
