Heard this bird calling this morning for the sixth consecutive Spring since 1999 in creekside vegetation along Merri Creek below Ramsden St Reserve, Clifton Hill, 5 km from Melbourne GPO. Have never seen it in mid-winter here, my earliest record in the past being 5th September.
