Been rather busy but better late than never ... Spring migrants continue to arrive in the Dubbo area. I saw my first Bee-eaters at my place (30km south of Dubbo) on Saturday 18 September. A steady stream has been passing overhead ever since. There were plenty of Bee-eaters in the Durikai State Forest area west of Warwick, southern Qld when I was there 13-14 September. On Tuesday 21 September the first flocks of White-browed Woodswallows (and small numbers of Masked) arrived at my place. More flocks were around yesterday.
