Not about nesting high. Just a happy story.

A chap established a butterfly farm on Tamborine Mountain. Can't remember
his name now. Let's call him Garry. In essence this was a large
glass-house in which to grow appropriate plants, but with shade-cloth or
some such that the butterflies could see, otherwise they would fly into the
glass and be damaged.

Garry wanted some biological control of unwanted insects. Got a permit from
the Q. Parks & Wildlife Service, to trap and place within the building, a
pair of White-browed Scrub-wrens. He was naturally delighted to find that
they were sufficiently happy with the set-up to nest. And there's more!

The Scrub-wrens found a break in the netting or whatever around the bottom
and so could get out - which they did, but they also came back in. Went out
and in as they pleased, and nested inside again next year. Clearly they
were delighted to have the 'farm' as their home territory.

Cheers

Syd
