Parrots in South Melbourne

Hi,

Two unusual parrot sightings I saw this week here.

On the corner of Marine and Pickles in South Melbourne,
I saw a Scaly-brested Lorikeet on Monday and a Long-billed
Corella today, at almost the same spot.

Just wondering if these are usuals here? I've see the Corellas
about 2km back at St Kilda regulary, but not the Scaly-brested.

This is just on my regular drive to work. That stretch between
St Kilda and Port Melbourne also gives me Galahs and Cockies
as well, is there something of interest to Cockatoos around
there?

There were also a large number of terns and gulls out on the water
this morning, some terns were smaller than the gulls, so I would
have guessed some of them may have been white-fronted, but I
cant confirm that.

Regards.
Vin.
