assuming you're in sydney(?), topknots can be found at minnamurra falls nr 
jamberoo in the southern highlands.
catbirds are locally common around the back of stanwell park. try the walk from 
the railway station. but hearing is one thing, seeing is another.
for spotted quail thrush, try the old convict rd through dharug nat pk across 
from wiseman's ferry.
farther afield, channel-billed cuckoos were plentiful 30-45 mins upriver from 
grafton in january.
