Hi Bird Lovers The list of global warming related disasters and fearful portents just keeps growing. The link below relates to a story I received from another bird list from the Northern Hemisphere which tells the story of total breeding collapse of Murres in the North Atlantic. It appears that their fish stocks are not gathering to breed due to global warming: http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/environment/story.jsp?story=546138 When Oh when will our leaders provide disencentives for fossil fuels and incentives for solar? :-( Regards Ricki -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
