RFI Hamilton Island

It is a pleasant enough place but not where I would go to see birds. I was there for a few days 10 years ago in August. There is a small pond, as I remember it, near the airport and a quiet sandy point to the north.

I'm also planning a trip to Hamilton Island, but cant find any information on the birding there at all.

The archive produces one request for information, and there is very little on the Internet about Hamilton Islands bird life.

Has anyone on the list been to Hamilton Island?
