Hi Guys,
Would love to see Nevils pics on Ozbirdpix but when I view the pages
there is a dialogue which say's that the attachment's are not
stored...can someone send them to me privately or post them on the ABID
(http://www.aviceda.org/abid)
Cheers,

Hi Alan,
thanks for your input.
I would still describe the tailband as_ sub-terminal_, it being closer
to the tip of the tail than to the rump. It is closest to the tip of
the tail at the edges rather than at its centre. So, it is about
5mm. from the tip at the edge of the tail and about 10mm. at the
tail's centre.
The grey_ terminal_ band therefore varies in width from about 5 to 10
mm..
For those that haven't seen it, Nevil Lazarus' photos are available
on ozbirdpix which is easily found via google and presumably other
search engines. Yahoo will also find it. One of the photos shows this
blue band well.
Regards, Andy
