Dear all, I remember getting into conversation with a couple (carrying binoculars) in Broome. They said that they had only just become birdwatchers and had bought a Field Guide (Simpson & Day, as it happens) in Darwin. "And we have already seen NINE BIRDS THAT AREN'T IN THE BOOK!"
